Volunteer with the Mumvuri Project

Volunteers can help the Mumvuri Project in many ways, from a short visit to a year or more. Short-term volunteers can get involved with the early childhood development school or run extra lessons; longer-term volunteers can develop sports and activity programmes, help with fundraising, or bring social work and counselling skills.

Your involvement will depend on how long you will be with the Project. Short-term volunteers can work with the early childhood development school, or run extra lessons for the children under Mumvuri care. There is potential to develop sports programmes and other extra-curricular activities for the children and the wider community, and to help organise fundraising events.

If you can spend a year or more with us, the opportunities are enormous. There is an opening for someone with social work experience to spend time with our children, assist with their counselling and help train our volunteers, and for the right person to help with the management and general operations of the Project.
