Volunteer

There are many ways in which a volunteer can help at the Mumvuri Project. Your involvement and work undertaken will depend upon the length of time which you will be volunteering with the Project. Short term volunteers can get involved with the Early Childhood Development school. You can also work on extra lessons for the children under Mumvuri Care. There is the potential for you to develop sports programs and other extra curriculum activities for the children, the Project and the community and possibly help to organize fund raising events.

If you are wanting to spend a year or more volunteering with the Mumvuri Project the opportunities for development with the orphaned children and the community at large are enormous. There is definitely an opening for the right person with Social Work experience to spend time with our children, assisting with their counselling and training our volunteers. We are also looking for the right person to volunteer on the management and general operations of the Project.
