School Fees – Uniforms – Equipment – Exam Fees
From 1995, when we began, and every year since then, the Mumvuri Project has paid for the school fees of between 60 and 70 children identified as orphans and/or vulnerable children within the Banket community and surrounding farm community.
There are 5 government schools in Banket. Two secondary schools and three primary schools. Kuwadzana Primary School and Banket Catholic Primary School’s current fees are USD30.00 per term. There are three terms in a year. Kuwadzana Secondary School and Sacred Heart Secondary school’s current fees are USD44.00 and USD60.00 respectively. There is also a primary school situated on a farm approximately 15kms (10 miles) out of Banket Town. This school’s fees are USD20.00 per term.

The students are currently on winter break and will return at the beginning of September for the final term of 2016.

Kuwadzana Primary School. 11 Students. Oustanding – Term 2 and Term 3 – USD330 per term. Total = USD660.
Banket Catholic School. 14 Students. Oustanding – Term 2 and Term 3 – USD420 per term. Total = USD840.
Haydock Primary School. 10 Students. Outstanding – Term 2 and Term 3 at USD200 per term. Total = USD400.
